What to expect
Palm Thai Massage is a single-location shop in the middle of Haeundae, run for people who want a real Thai massage without a taxi ride. Therapists work in the traditional Thai style — palm and thumb pressure along the body's lines, with assisted stretching — and in a slower aroma oil style for guests who prefer gliding pressure over stretching.
You do not need a spa day to come here. Most guests arrive with a stiff back from a flight, sore legs from Haeundae Beach and Dalmaji Hill, or the specific kind of tiredness that follows a long dinner in Haeundae Market. Forty minutes fixes more of that than people expect.

How a visit runs
Arrive and choose
Take the lift to the second floor. At the desk you pick your course and length, tell us anything we should avoid, and leave your bag and valuables in an individual locker that you lock yourself with your own number.
Foot bath and tea
Feet are washed and soaked before anything else. You are served pu-erh or jasmine tea with seasonal fruit or a small sweet. This time is a courtesy — the clock on your course does not start here.
Change and settle
For Thai courses you change into loose Thai clothing we provide. For aroma courses you undress to your comfort level and stay covered with a towel throughout, with only the area being worked left exposed.
The treatment
Your therapist checks pressure early and again partway through. Say lighter or stronger at any point — it is expected, not a complaint.
Shower and tea
Shower rooms are separated for men and women and free to use, which matters most after an aroma course. Tea again before you go.
Before you come
- Leave a light gap after eating. An hour is enough.
- Come sober. We cannot treat guests who have been drinking.
- Arrive five minutes early if you want the full foot bath without rushing.
- Tell us about injuries, surgery, pregnancy or high blood pressure at the desk, not halfway through.
What you do not need
No appointment is strictly required and no membership exists. Bring nothing. Clothing, towels, slippers and lockers are all provided.

Hygiene
Every guest is set up from scratch. This is what that means in practice.
- Fresh linen, towels and Thai clothing for each guest, changed after every treatment.
- Laundry washed at high temperature and fully dried before it returns to the rooms.
- Treatment rooms wiped down and ventilated between guests.
- Therapists wash and sanitise their hands before and after every session.
- Oil and lotion dispensed per guest. No open container is shared between rooms.
- Showers, lockers and slippers cleaned and disinfected daily.
- Shared floors, door handles and the waiting area disinfected on a regular schedule.
If anything in the room does not look right to you, tell the front desk and we will reset it before we start.
Who should not book
Massage is not suitable for everyone on every day. Please tell us at check-in if any of the following apply, so the therapist can adjust the pressure, skip an area, or recommend a different course.
- Pregnancy. Tell us before booking. We avoid abdominal work, deep pressure and certain essential oils, and we do not recommend treatment during the first trimester.
- Recent surgery, fractures or acute injury. Please wait until your doctor clears you.
- Open wounds, skin infections or contagious skin conditions.
- Fever, flu or any acute illness.
- Alcohol. We cannot treat guests who are visibly intoxicated. Massage after drinking raises the risk of dizziness and nausea.
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart disease, or a history of thrombosis, DVT or severe varicose veins.
- Osteoporosis, herniated disc, or spinal conditions. Stretching and deep pressure will be reduced or skipped.
- Diabetes with reduced sensation, or any condition affecting how you feel pressure.
- Cancer treatment, past or present. Please consult your doctor first.
- Allergies to nuts or essential oils. Relevant for aroma courses, which use a plant oil base.

How much is a Thai massage in Haeundae?
At Palm Thai Massage, traditional Thai courses run from ₩45,000 for 40 minutes to ₩110,000 for 120 minutes. Aroma oil courses run from ₩60,000 for 40 minutes to ₩130,000 for 120 minutes. Prices include tax and there is no separate room charge.
How late are you open?
We take guests from 13:00 until 05:00 the following morning, every day of the year including public holidays. Choose a course that finishes by 05:00 — for a 120-minute course, that means arriving by about 02:50.
Do I need to book in advance?
No. Walk-ins are welcome. Rooms do fill on Friday and Saturday nights and around 22:00–01:00, so a WhatsApp message an hour ahead is the reliable way to get the time and room you want.
How far is it from Haeundae Station?
91 metres from Exit 3 of Haeundae Station on Busan Metro Line 2. We are on the second floor of the Ramada Encore Hotel building, reachable by lift.
Can two people be massaged in the same room?
Yes. We have couple rooms for two people at the same time, and rooms connected by sliding doors that open up for three or more.
Do you have showers?
Yes, separate shower rooms for men and women, free to use before or after your treatment. Towels are provided.
Is there parking?
Yes, in the basement of the building.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Staff handle English, Korean and Thai in person. Japanese and Chinese are easiest over WhatsApp, where we can read and reply in writing.
